Requested-info on southern spain

Hi

I am considering to visit southern spain area in end Nov/Dec for our 5th wedding anniversary. I wanted a warm weather place in Europe for a week.
Now the problem is I dont know many places in southern spain..

which places shd I visit..barcelona?madrid?Seville?..

I could do a search over internet for hours on end but have an infant and an exam in few weeks and have already spend hundreds of hours on internet researching greek isles cruise finally deciding that the weather in Nov/dec wouldnt be worth it .

Please advise me how to divide up a weeks time in southern spain.. I might do only 2 cities due to infant,

The best thing would be head out to your local library and borrow a few guidebooks on Spain, or better yet, on Andalusia.

Neither Madrid nor Barcelona is in Southern Spain.

How warm are you looking for? It's very unlikely you'll have beach weather anyplace in Europe then.

Barcelona is northern Spain and Madrid is Central Spain - and on a high plateau - so cold in the winter. (There is skiing in the mountains.)

For southern Spainy you need to head for Seville/Granada/Cordoba or the Costa del Sol. It's warm enough for golf and tennis at the latter - but not swimming outdoors.

Per your posts, you seemed to have no time to dilly-dally, which makes it a compelling case for going away on vacation!! So, I am going to streamlined this process for you based on experience:

Fly to Malaga Intl Airport. Rent a house/apartment in Marbella or Puerto Banus. Rent a car at the Malaga Airport. Daytrips to Granada, Ronda, Pueblos Blancos, etc..An overnight to Seville.

Flights: Check Iberia.
House/Aptm Rentals: Check holiday-rentals.com or vrbo.com
Car: HERTZ or AVIS

Have hubby procure the car; do not pay more than $550/week.

Use the Advanced Search function on holiday-rentals to narrow down the selections.

Use Iberia.com for tickets.
