Renting an apartment in Paris: why is no one renting this apartment???
It looks like we may be going to Paris instead of the Amalfi Coast this June (long story). I'm trying to find an inexpensive apartment in the 7th, and found one that look good, vrbo 15500, but should I be concerned that every single date is available? Perhaps it's brand new? There are no customer reviews available on vrbo for this unit.

Your thinking may be correct about this being an apartment recently placed for short-term rental. But it may also be that the owner isn't maintaining the availability calendar as some sites leave it to the owners to do.

Hi, Jocelyn --
I've heard great things about the 16th, but if you really want to stay in the 7th, try vacationinparis.com. We stayed in their Invalides apt. over New Year's this year and liked the apt. and location a lot. Good value for money, too.
Wherever you stay, have a great trip.

Hi Joc,
We looked at that apt as well. We found that some of the really nice apts are rented by the same people at the same times each year. We wanted one in the 16th that was not available at all this year.
Which one do you like in the 16th, you know we took one then changed our minds there. We did look while we were in the area last week and it turned out to be a great location.
Just you and your husband?

It's this one: http://www.vrbo.com/47620
It's right on Rue de Passy. We haven't even changed our flight yet so nothing's set in stone. But, the more I daydream about Paris, the more I long to go back asap!

I am one who thinks that as long as it is possible, if you want to go to Paris- Go!
I like that apartment. I like the area quite a lot.
We were just watching it rain and talking about the cold in Paris..which led to the conversation about where to go next...Portugal and Italy were the choices..Voting will begin in a month or so
