Renting a wheelchair in Austria

We are traveling to Vienna, Salzburg and Munich with my 85 year old mother this September. She is able to walk, just not long distances. Since we are driving from Vienna to Munich it doesn't seem feasible to bring her wheelchair from home. There will barely be room in the trunk for luggage for 5 people. I have been searching everywhere for a lead on how to rent a wheelchair in Vienna and in Salzburg so my mother can enjoy as much of these cities as possible. Other than booking with a travel agent or tour group, we already have everything booked, I am at a loss. Can anyone help? Thanks so much in advance! Susan

They hvae numerous shops. Probably the one most convenient is the one at Freyung 5 in the city center.

If you're staying at a hotel this is something the concierge could organize for you. That way it's sitting at the hotel when you arrive and you don't need to race around finding the shop/figuring what hours it's open etc.
