I have rented a apartment from
rentalinrome for a week in March. I did a bank transfer for the deposit and asked for a confirmation as soon as they got it. I e-mailed about a dozen times asking them to respond over the next 8 or 9 days. I ended up calling and they acted like it was no big deal that they had not confirmed. I am worried that when we arrive in Rome the apartment will not be as listed. I have rented the apartment Dolce Vita near the Spanish Steps. Any Info??

I did get my deposit back after many phone calls and threats. After I sent them my deposit, they would not even answerany of my many e-mails. Day after day I waited to get confirmation that they had my bank transfer. I tried for weeks to get them to reply and finally called several times before getting my money back. I went with sleepinitaly.com. and was pleased with their service. I would not trust rentalinrome.

Be careful. I used them last summer with 5 other senior lady friends. They accused us of stealing a piece of wifi equipment which we didn't even know what to do with. They charged my account 99euros which after many months my c.c. company allowed. Other people had come into the apartment before we left to clean. Very bad experience. Would never use them again. Try RomeSweetHome. They weren't fraudulent.
