I'll be spending three days in Cheltenham - for the literary festival - and would like to take some side trips to Bibury or other close by Cotswold villages. There doesn't seem to be a car rental agency in Cheltenham however. Does anyone know of one closer that Gloucester?

Cheltenham Spa is a major town - no car rentals? Hard to believe. I stayed there several days once and took local buses to anywhere in the Cotswolds i wanted to go. But this big a town without any car rentals?

PS can recommend Enterprise...have used them loads of times in Engand and Scotland and they do some good deals

There's a Hertz (at Gloucester), Enterprise in Cheltenham, and also MVR (I see loads of their vans out and about in the area)

I had a rental car from Enterprise recently, albeit from the Cirencester branch, and had absolutely no problems with them or the car. They will deliver the car to you if need be.
