Rental Agency for Apt in Rome?

We are a party of 6 friends traveling together and will be ending our trip to Italy in Rome. We were thinking about renting an apartment in the Pantheon area for 3 nights, as we enjoyed that area very much when we were there in 2008, but there are so very many apartment rental agencies to choose from! Could someone please give me a recommendation for a reliable agency we could work with?

We will also be looking at a B&B or hotel in the Lakes District (no firm decisions yet) and a 7-night villa rental in Tuscany for a week long trip to the hill towns! YaY! So excited to begin planning another adventure in Italy!!

Go to the web site www.sleepinitaly.com and have a look. I, as well as others on this forum have used them with very good service and not any complaints that I have read about. They are reputable, very easy to work with and also have a very good selection of apartments in Rome.

You may want to have several apartments in the same building. Check out www.palazzo-olivia.it or www.residenzagubbonari.com where there is more than one apartment for rent in the same building in the historic center....but not right at the Pantheon.

We use sleepinitaly.com, too. I like their apartments. But I have one caution: all their central apartments are touted as being 5 mins. or 50 meters from Camp dei Fiori, etc. They are not. Look at the map link and figure it out for yourself. We stayed in one apartment on via Giulia which was very nice but was not 50 meters from the Campo. It was more like 500 meters (e.g. half a kilometer, or about 1/3 mile.)

We used realrome.com and had very good luck with that agency. You didn't indicate your price range; realrome.com has fairly inexpensive (and therefore not lavish) choices.

Usually I suggest this http://www.italyrents.com/eng/rome_a...modations.html to rent apartment in Rome. It's good and nobody told me otherwise. For the b&b I suggest you to look here http://www.italy-farmholidays.com/ag.../toscana/#desc it's a farmholidays web site, but you can choise the option B&b, and you'll find something good!
