Relentless surfing pay off!

We made plans for London and Prague last August (so we could use our miles). My wife always asks why I keep checking on hotel websites when we already have reservations. She won't ask anymore. I found our hotel in London for next week on laterooms.com, and got the price chopped from 150 to 110 GBP a night (for a four-star suite). Yesterday, I noticed a deal on our Prague hotel, and got 4 nights for the price of three. In both cases, the hotels honored the deals I found. Total savings- over $500. Moral of the story; Keep checking!

It seems like we heard this same story last week. I smell an advertisement for laterooms.com!

Wrong, Sherlock. Just trying to help folks save money on our favorite pastime! The deal in Prague had nothing to do with laterooms.

I saw the post a while back on laterooms.com and had a look. While I have not found any discounted rooms yet in Canada for the dates I need, I found the website helpful.<BR>

I found laterooms.com excellent. I am in scotland the 1st weekend of August for a wedding and could only get a B&B for 90 per night. That is so high because the Edinburgh Festival is starting. I checked out the site and got a hotel romm for &pound;75 in the hotel the wedding takes place and their rate was even cheaper for the night of the wedding which we were quoted a "special" rate &pound;130. Overall for 4 nights I saved &pound;45 and I am stayoing in a 4 star hotel in Downtown Edinburgh. I think the deals get better the closer to the date you book. I reccommend always checking it!
