Well, I very much approve of the fact that L'Entrecôte is cheaper than the Relais de l'Entrecôte but I presume that a family conference caused L'Entrecôte to pull out of Paris where it was doing fantastic business and perhaps cutting into Dad's revenue.

I finally went to the Relais de l'Entrecote (Montparnasse) on my last trip to Paris and enjoyed it a lot. Maybe a little over-priced for what you get, but still good. However, I wouldn't wait in line for 30 minutes for it. But fine if you get there right at opening time. Maybe I'll try some of the other suggestions in this thread next time, especially for duck.
