Reims/Epernay - Champagne tour prices?
Leaving on Thursday (woo hoo!) for Paris, and researching day trips. I'm unable to find out what the Champagne houses charge for visits/tastings, although I have been able to find a schedule (without pricing) for houses in Epernay.
Does anyone have a general idea of what these might cost?
(As an update to an earlier request - I decided that I didn't want to deal with train travel immediately upon arriving in Paris, so we've rented an apartment in the 7th for the duration of our stay, and if we feel the need to, will do day trips. I'm currently researching Reims, Epernay, Chartres, Compiegne & Sens as possibilities that are within striking distance of Paris!)
Thanks to all who provided input on my last request, and thank you in advance to anyone who can help with this one!

We have been to a couple of Epernay's champagne houses (Perrier Jouet and Moet) and there was no charge for either.
If you're planning on going to Epernay, I would suugest making reservations for the tours now.

I think we paid around 18.00 E each for our group tour with tasting at Moet & Chandon. I don't remember any other tour options, i.e. without tastings. They also offered more premium tastings at a higher price. The cellars were very interesting and the guide filled us in on all the history, including Napoleon's visit there. We went this time of year, mid-April 2008 and did not have reservations. We went on a Sunday and many of the champagne houses were closed, but the Moet & Chandon was open and their tour was perfect for us. We spent the night across the river in Ay.

Thank you -
The schedule I found is actually for weekends without appointments.
If we do decide to book and go during the week, did you find the information on the associated website, or the tourist website for Epernay?

Truffles, could you post your results for Epernay wine tours? Oh, and links? I've only found one, but the link appears broken, as it won't allow me to navigate, just look at the one page. Looking for ideas for March-April 2011 and a wine/champagne tour might be it.
Thanks for any assistance.
