Recommendations for a one week stay in Provence

I have traveled in Provence but am seeking advice based on a planned trip this October. Last October I stayed with friends outside of Menerbes, visiting a town or two each day, visiting markets and eating lunch, then having dinner at our gite each night. Our week there was lovely! This trip I am traveling solo, will have a car in Provence, and would like to stay in a small town so that I can walk to dinner in the evenings. I am not comfortable driving after dark and would like to enjoy wine with dinner. I have narrowed the towns to Bonnieux, Menerbes, and Goult based on size and location. There are several accommodations still available with reasonable flights of stairs and easy walks to restaurants in each. A post from Kathy Woods, whose place in Bonnieux is not available when I am there, mentioned two restaurants I was interested in are closed. As each of these 3 towns is appealing, which one would you recommend based on a few enjoyable restaurants for evening meals? Cost is not important but rather good ambience and good regional food.
