Hi amsdon,
No, we haven't been able to attend the conciertos/noches de las velas because the dates are usually really bad for us. This year the 1st and 2nd weekends of July fall when we have to be in Pamplona. I would just love to attend some day when the entire town is illuminated entirely by thousands and thousands of candles and to attend a concert in one of the two venues, the Plaza Mayor or the patio of the Zuloaga castle.
I just checked the calendar for '10, and the first wkd. is July 2-3, so we maybe we can make it then!

Hi again,
This is awesome-- it's like the who's who of Spain Trip Reports on this post! ha ha.
Amsdon- this is going to be a day trip on a Monday. Your advice about getting there early has been duly noted. I'm not sure how we'll spend the siesta, but it'll either be buying trinkets or with an ice cream cone + a nap under a tree somewhere.
Isabel, victor d and desmccarthy- thank you for the photos and advice.
Thank you all for your help. My wife and I are very very excited for the trip!

Hi rhk06,
I have a new version of my Segovia guide going up soon that you might want to look through-I've updated it quite a bit, reflecting the changes we noted on our April trip. It should be up on my web page in a couple of days, hopefully before you leave!

The guide was great before but now so much detail for the sourrounding areas of Segovia too.
Really helpful & user friendly.
There is lots I missed the first time.
Thanks so much for alll the work you do!
