Ravello music in April?
I've booked 4 nights in Amalfi but am inclined to change to Ravello based on the wonderful reviews. My thinking was that Amalfi would be more of a central base. Any suggestions?
Also, are there any music concerts as early as April? I've tried to locate a tourism website but to no avail.

Hi Patti - The Ravello Concert Society lists about 10 concerts in April in Villa Rufolo.
Here's the link:

Hope this helps ...

I went to a concert at Villa Rufolo when we stayed in Ravello & it was very atmospheric - partly because we had to move from the garden to inside due to a spectacular electrical storm !
However we regretted staying 4 nights in Ravello - there's not much there and it was a bit chilly even in June ! A day trip would have done, or 1 night max to go to the concert. I like Amalfi better and you are right, it is a better base for visiting other places.

Thanks, especially to Steve James. It looks like there is a couple of concerts during the week we are in Ravello.
Caroline, I was surprised to learn it is chilly even in June. Better carry a heavier coat that I first planned.
