Rain Hat Help

For my upcoming trip to Edinburgh, I would like to take a rain hat as I find it easier than using an umbrella on crowded, narrow streets plus it keeps my hands free and is easily stored. I found the Cloudburst Hat at Majellans. It is rather big but has a large brim that would seem to provide good protection. Would welcome any advice on a good travel rain hat. Thanks!

ttt - I know this is not a very glamorous question, but I read that an umbrella is not advisable in Scotland because of the stiff winds. I have been having a devil of a time trying to find a good rain hat. Help!

Why not buy one in Edinburgh?

Just pack a serviceable bucket hat until you get there and can find something perfected by the locals.
