Rail travel germany/Austria
I am considering rail travel compared to car rental. We are 5 adults
Trip planned:
Frankfurt airport to Rothenburg ob der Tauber .
Rothenburg to Munich
Munich to Reutte, Austria
Reutte, Austria to Innsbruck
How to to find out train schedule from Munich to Reutte?
It seemed that train to Rothenburg was 7 hours when the drive time is 2.5 hours..
Please help me.
Thanks in advance!

You might want to double check, I think the train to Roth. is about 3 hours.
Edited to add: you might still be better off driving, but just FYI, I found a Frankfurt airport to Rothenburg that's 2hr 58min, 38 euro per person (so 190 for 5 people?).

You can look at train schecules and routes on the Deutschebahn website, www.bahn.de (available in English).
Frankfurt main station to Rothenburg ob Tauber is 2 hours 31 minutes, with 2 train changes. You'd add a short trip from the airport to the main station.
Munich to Reutte is also about 2.5 hours, going via Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Most of that trip could be covered on a Länder ticket, which covers 5 people traveling together.

Hello katsura---
I wish I could tell you more about Länder tickets, but all I know I learned here! Put "Lander" in the search box and I think the discussion will come up.
Basically, it is a special ticket for travel by up to 5 people within one state in Germany (such as Bavaria). They are usually only good on the regional (RE) trains, not the Inter-City (ICE) trains.
