Question on London Gracechurch location

I am going to London for business. The hotel we are staying in is the Club Quarters Gracechurch. I want to look for some restaurants nearby but don't know what that area is called. Any help? TIA

It is on Gracechurch Street, in the City section. Just south of Leadenhall Lane; close to Monument tube station and Bank station.

Across the river is Borough Market, a great place for wandering among plenty of foodstalls. Only open part of the week.

Leadenhall Market has a bunch of restaurants, and so does Spitalfields Market (across from Liverpool Street station).

there's a gaucho (steak place) inside the club quarters and a wetherspoons next door.
it's a 10 minute walk from liverpool street station and the restaurants around it. the restaurants inside the great eastern hotel are pricey but good.
the area is pretty dull during the weekends though, unless you go south of the river like yk suggested.

Thanks for the help. I guess I was unclear as to what I was looking for. I want to know what that area is called so I can use that information for planning my trip. When I look at the London destination everything is organized by area ie. Bayswater, Soho etc.

The Destinations bit on this site calls the area 'The City', which is what we all call it. In writing, the capitalisation is important.

It's pretty much the "city" area of London. half mile east is Tower of London. half mile west is St Pauls. half mile south (across the river) is Southwark Cathedral and Borough Market.

Lloyds and gherkin building (aka 30 st mary axe) is a few mins walk away.

Oh and Bank of England is just a few mins West. I think it has a museum, though I have never been.

The closest place with plenty of restaurant choices will be Leadenhall Market (link I gave above). It should be just 2-3 mins walk from Club Quarters.

Leadenhall Market is just across the road from Club Quarters

If you go into the Google Streetview above and find the Half Moon pub, one of the entrances to the masket is under all that scaffolding
