Question about Vernazza room

I have been looking for a room in Vernazza...Albergo Barbara I have not heard back from, Gianni Franzi is booked, Martina rooms are booked. Does anyone know anything about Nerina B&B? They offered a good price with a sea view. Or does anyone have any other ideas?

Also, we will be there at the end of May...will be need A/C or can anyone tell me what the average temp is at that time in the Cinque Terre.

Thanks!

A few years ago my friends and I got rooms at Franca Maria (www.francamaria.com) with sort of a sea view. They were fine -- simple, clean, right in the middle of everything -- and we loved being in Vernazza, especially after 6:00 when the tourists went home. We were there at the end of May and didn't feel a need for AC.

Are you "married" to staying in Vernazza?

Lucie,
Vernazza is our first choice, but we are definitely open for other suggestions.

Thanks!

texgirl, we stayed at Marina Piccola www.hotelmarinapiccola.com
in Manarola in October 2006. Loved it. If you put Cinque Terre into the search box, you'll get a lot of helpful threads on places to stay in CT.
May sounds like a great time to be there, btw!

Our family visited the C.T. for the second time in early July of 2006 staying 3 nights in Vernazza. The place we stayed was right on the main drag that leads down to the square. We did not have A/C and it was hot during the day so every afternoon we claimed a rock on the beach and went swimming. The evenings were much cooler and we slept great. I think you will be fine without a/c in May
