Provence map 527 question

O.K. Ya'll, I now have the map, my DH is checking it out and he cannot figure out what the purple half-inch line is. I think it surrounding the area that is for the specific area,(Provence, alps, Cote)of the map. Am I correct or we off completely? Thanks, Sharon

hello shanart, I think I have the same version of 527 as you and the legend on the side says the purple lines are either national boundaries (if they have crosses within) or administrative boundaries (if they have dashed lines or no lines.)Hope that helps?

ozgirl, thanks, I think you have it, I can't seem to make it country boundaries. It must be administrative boundaries Thanks, everyone for their quick response!. Sharon

I'm looking at my map no. 341, and on it all the different regions are delineated with their names in large purple letters. So it must be goundaries of some kind.
