Provence lodging advice needed

My husband and I are planning 2 nights in Provence this coming mid-July. We'll have a car. We're interested in spending one night near Vaison La Romaine (either in the town or somewhere in the area) and the 2nd night in or near L'Isle sur la Sorgue (we'd like to go to the Sunday market). We want to spend around 100 euros or less a night. Thanks.

It's getting late for bookings but good luck.
This place has wonderful reviews.

I just loved Hotel l'Hermitage which is just outside Pernes les Fontaines, which is about 8-10 miles north of Isle sur la Sorgue and a good location for touring the area. I visited Vaison la Romaine from Pernes, is isn't that far that I would move for that reason. Of course, if you just like moving around, sure.

We stayed at Eveche. It is TO DIE FOR!!!! Do beg them to let you in --- but make sure you have a very small car to get through the extremely narrow street.

Thank you all for your advice. Good news - I got a room at L'Eveche for the one night. But, I'm still hunting for a place either in or near L'Isle sur la Sorgue for the next night.

I would stay at L'Eveche both nights. No need to move around - you're not going that far.

Perhaps you didn't care for my suggestion for some reason, but I did give you a suggestion in your budget near Isle sur la Sorgue, and it is a very nice place, if you do definitely move. Isle sur la Sorgue has several cheap modern motels that could work, also. In fact, I ate in the dining room of one just on the northern outskirts of Isle sur la Sorgue and even though it was an ordinary looking motel, the restaurant was excellent and had a lovely location overlooking the water and a mill. That is the 2* Hotel Cantosorgue

One thing that is interesting is that sometimes the 2* modern motels/hotels in Provence have AC and nicer places do not. So that is one advantage of that motel. It's on the D938 just north of town overlooking La Sorgue river. Their doubles are only 60 euro. The room is basic 2* motel modern, but they do have a closed parking lot, and a pool and AC. For some reason, the website doesn't mention the restaurant, I wonder if it's closed. At least they show a breakfast room overlooking the water, so they have that.

Hi, Christina,
Thanks for your 2nd note. I forgot I had looked at it but now that I've relooked at Hotel Caontosorgue I remember thinking it seemed a bit motel-ish. But, you make a good argument about having air con and it does have parking, which is a big plus.
