We only had lunch at La Table du Comtat, and as you probably know, it is high in the hills and not very near anything. The view was lovely!

I have stayed at the Crillon many times and love that place . It's built on terraces with spectacular views. It looks like something you'd imagine a hotel in provence should look like. I ate at the Comtat, great food and stayed in a maison D'hote in Saigon so ate alot at the Presbytere. The owner is very nice and the hotel is next to the Village fountain and across from an ancient lavoir. The others I know by name and read about them. Good choices all

We have dined at Le Royal Soleil in Menerbres and Le Presbytere in Saignon. Both were excellent. Both are in nice settings. The gentleman who runs Le Presbytere is particularly courteous. He is an expatriate American from McLean, Virginia. There is an excellent prix fixe lunch for 30 Euros.

We have not stayed in either hotel but if the cuisine is any indication they should be good places to stay.(Saignon is right next to Apt where there is a large outdoor market on Saturdays.)

We just returned and stayed for 3 nights in mas d'aigret in les Baux. It was lovely. I do believe that it has it's own website. The pool there is gorgeous, and it is built into the hills, so some of the rooms, including the dining room, are in caves.
