LOL, I am not a professional guide. But I'm flatter, of course ;-)

This guy is really good. He is a Historian.

Depends what you offer... A dinner at Bean&Beluga might do the trick? ;-)

Definitely, quokka, yes. But a professional tour guide for two days would be cheaper ;-)

yk, as quokka said. Depends on what is offered ;-)

Thank you Ingo. I have made contact with your suggested guide.

However, it might be very interesting to have you as our guide. Again, thank you for all of you help and suggestions over the past few months regarding my trip to Germany in June.

Any suggestions for a guide in Vienna?

quokka, it was my pleasure ;-)

Judi, if it wasn't that weekend I would have volunteered as tour guide, as I do usually with Fodorites. Problem is, that weekend I'm going to be in Görlitz (they have tours of recently restored old houses etc. that weekend). If it doesn't work out at all with the guide I suggested (or otherwise) then please post again and I'll see if I can make time.

Sorry, no idea about a guide in Vienna. But you might start a new thread with Vienna in the title.

I.

I have contacted your suggestion for guide in Dresden..he is not able to help us, busy..but he did give me 2 other recommendations...I have posted a new thread about Vienna.

THanks again....
