Judi, if it wasn't that weekend I would have volunteered as tour guide, as I do usually with Fodorites. Problem is, that weekend I'm going to be in Görlitz (they have tours of recently restored old houses etc. that weekend). If it doesn't work out at all with the guide I suggested (or otherwise) then please post again and I'll see if I can make time.

I'm sorry that we won't be in Gorlitz on Sunday..but my brother will be joining us and he does not arrive until Sunday night. So Monday is our Gorlitz visit!!

I have contacted your suggestion for guide in Dresden..he is not able to help us, busy..but he did give me 2 other recommendations...I have posted a new thread about Vienna.
