prices for eagle's nest?

I am finding it near impossible to find the standard prices for entrance into the Eagle's Nest. We will not be doing the guided tour, but I'd like to get a general idea of the various costs associated with it. I know there is a bus ride and then the elevator ride up. I believe they both have a cost. Anyone know what they cost? Are there other costs as well?

Thanks!

According to the official website for the Eagle's Nest, www.kehlsteinhaus.de, the cost of the bus ride from Hintereck to the bus parking lot below the Eagle's Nest and the elevator from there is €14,50 pP. This information is on the German language side under "Anfahrt"

Hi: we did this in Sept 2006 and it is well worth it. You must take the bus; private cars are not allowed up/down the very narrow, scenic road. I believe you must indicate what time you wish to return, so they can organize full buses for the trip back down. The bus unloads you at the elevator entrance. It is scenic there, but the real views are from the top. We stayed about 1.5 hours. There is a walkway leading up from the building, with full 180 degree views of all the surrounding mountains. You can walk as short or long a distance as you want. Probably not the thing to do on a dark, rainy day...but on a beautiful sunny day you will love it!

The only other cost would be if you eat at the cafe. We sat by the fireplace and remembered the scenes there from photos, it was quite an experience and the food was nice.

There is a "ticket window" next to the bus parking lot right below the Eagle's Nest (where you get the elevator). There you reserve a time for the bus trip back down.

Also, both times I was there, I used the path to get back down to the bus. It's easy going down.
