"PREM" Fares

I have seen these talked about a lot and realize they are discount train fares, but would really appreciate some info on what they are.....

That's exactly what they are, discount train fares. If you're lucky and check the train site daily, you'll catch the discount you want. If you type in "Prem" in the search box, you'll come up with all the information you need about getting a Prem fare. I was confused initially about how to get the fare, but I sat down one evening and waded through all the posts dealing with these fares and came away un-confused. There have been a few really useful ones lately. Happy researching!

Prem Fares are special discount tickets that the French Railroad offer every so often.
These tickets are good only for the day and the time that you chose to travel, however, be aware that if you miss the train, these tickets are invalid.

You must print these tickets with your PC and add your name.

Prem Tickets are a bargains , I have used them quite often..

The earlier, the more chance you have but Prem's tickets can be reserved/purchased only 14-60 days ahead.

Yes, you're right about that, kappa. I want to get one of those PREM fares for a return trip exactly 60 days from this upcoming Friday, and I'm chomping on the bit because I want to get everything booked NOW!

I just got two prem tickets the other day. I had no idea what I was doing and it was easy. One way Avignon to Paris. I used the english option and found it all very easy to navigate. You can sort the options by price. 50 Euro for two one way tickets I thought was a good deal.
