Prague -- lodging recs for 3
Hi, everyone,
Helping my friends find some less expensive lodgings later this fall for Prague.I will spend some time walking through the lodging websites with them on Wednesday , but sometimes I still find my best tips on this board (which I will also search more).
Three people, and would really prefer two rooms (not sharing one room with all three). Can be an airbnb type lodging, hotel, convent, not a dormitory hostel though. Preferred budget--ideally $150/less total per night--but if you know of something $200/less, still let me know. Willing to take Uber, taxi or mass transit if it is not in the tourist areas and is a good price.
Thanks for any suggestions.

We rented from this company last year - a lovely apartment in the Old Town for about your budget. Very easy to deal with

Hi 5alive,
I've heard Hotel Kampa Gardens is great, and is usually available for around $115-150 a night (although that's for one room).
Jerome House is even more affordable. Fairly no-frill rooms, but nice and clean with helpful front desk staff. It's also right in New Town/good walking distance to the main sightseeing areas (river, Old Town, etc.). Tram and metro stop very close-by.
Hope that helps!

We (3 of us) stayed at Hotel Aurus in 2015. It looks to be just above your $200/night price point, BUT, it's very centrally located in the Old Town, includes breakfast, is a two-room suite with three actual beds, and is old-world gorgeous, with painted ceilings. You may be able to get a discount for multiple nights, or for paying cash.
