I'm going to be in Malta for a few days and plan atrip to GOZO...Is it worth a ferry ride of 90 minutes to sprnd the day in Pozzallo , Sicily..just to walk around ...see the town ,eat ,shop and return? Thanks!

I haven't been to Pozzallo so can't comment from that angle, but there's so much to do and see in Malta that, if you've only got a few days, I wouldn't venture beyond Gozo.
Here's a list that might help:

Happy travels! I'd love to be going back to Malta right now.

I agree with Amy above. I live in Malta, and even after 16 years here there's things I still discover. Oodles of history and this time of year, autumn, nice walking to do as well in the North (Malta's countryside). Gozo is day trip in itself. I have been to Sicily several times, and Pozallo - the town is pretty miserable, not worth a visit at all. It's the place to catch the ferry that's all. If you were staying longer, had transport to get around Sicily (hire a car), then the south eastern corner of Sicily has lots to see - Siracusa, Noto (Unesco World Heritage city). But not on a mere day from Malta. Too much effort just to say you've done two islands! For ideas on the more off-the-beaten track Malta, and unusual aspects of the island, see maltainsideout.com for insider insights.

We have been to Malta, Gozo and Sicily and I would say it's not worth visiting Pozzallo just for the day. Gozo is nice, we found it peaceful and enjoyed our 5 days there, we also had about 10 days on Malta and a couple of weeks in Sicily. If you only have a few days, spend them on Malta (and Gozo) and enjoy. There is a lot to see there, we loved it.
