Basically the title says it all. I've been noticing a trend--people posting a link here to a trip report on SlowTrav or to a report on their personal website/blog. I think the rational is that you can't upload pictures on this website (also it is difficult to post long reports). I just wondered if anyone had any feelings about this.

I guess I'm so excited for my trip to Iceland, so I'm already thinking about the report! Any comments?

Many people post their trip reports here as well.

Just be sure to separate paragraphs to make for easier reading.

I make this my default site for trip reports, since these are the folks who have given me the most help.

Plus the fact that with many more posters on this board than any other, there is a lot more comment for all of us to enjoy. And we have Ira!

I recently created a website to post a "trip report" on our December trip to Oaxaca. I wanted to include photos and even some short videos, and I couldn't find a format on the photo sites or the blog sites that would give me what I wanted. I really loved the options this gave me for presenting information and all my trip reports in the future will be in this format.
