Kilimanjaro Trip
Hi,
We are planning on doing the Manchame Route up to Kilimanjaro. Currently I am planning on using Jenman Safaris. They are offering the trip for 1500USD, over 7 Days.
I had them send me some information, and I have the impression that they are a serious company. See the web page below for the trip.

I was wondering if anyone else here has been on a Kilimanjaro Trip, if they could share some information with me. if so, please send me an email to [email protected]
Thanks

Hi Siggens-
I returned home 2 weeks ago, and I did a 7-night/8-day Kili climb. I did the Shira route, which is similar to Machame and meets up with the Machame route along the way.
Do you have specific questions? I'd be happy to help!

Are you aware that you don't have to climb at night anymore - the traditional 6-7 day Machame route is rather brutal on the final summit night. And Machame itself is quite crowded for most of the way.
Nowadays more & more hikers are using slightly modified Machame itineraries that allow for a daytime ascent on the final day. If you interested (highly recommended) I can tell you more...
