Posting Travel Photos
I really love travelling to Europe and all the photo opportunities. I'd like to start posting some of my pictures at travel or other web sites.
Does anyone know sites where you can post pictures? Appreciate any response. Thanks.

Michael,
there was another thread a couple of weeks ago that had a lot of tips about websites/online photo services, but I've not been able to find it. the one you posted has a lot of good info about how to sort, organize, backup photos, but I think the other one has more info on posting.

I have my own web site.
Cost isn't very much to buy a domain name and hosting is about $10 per month.
I use the back of the site for other things such as playing around with ASP.NET
I wrote a page to display photos and it's all driven by a very simple MSAccess database.
My daughter, who develops web sites, did most of the front page (I do database web sites and she does the creative good-looking things).

LOL.
Unfortunately, my short term memory is only good for about 5min, and my long term memory, gone long ago. I even tried to search "next 50 messages" back a long way and never saw it. Probably because my vision is going too.

I post mine on

Please feel free to browse my pics.

I like that it's free and you can select that anyone can comment. After reading the most recent post like this, I am considering the sense in paying for an online site that I could download if something happens to my cds.

This is a recent thread with pertinent info:

In general, the best way to search Fodors is not to use their search engine. Go to the Google advanced search and under "Domain" restrict your search to fodors.com.

here's another recent thread as well
http://www.fodors.com/forums/threads...p;tid=34629901
Was able to find it quickly using google.com search, restricting my search to fodors.com domain, and using the keywords photo, online, storage. Great search tip I picked up today on Fodors.
far better search results than using the Fodors search.
