a little off topic - good site for posting travel photos?

Hey Gang, turnip here. I'm almost done with my Czech Republic trip report and would really like to be able post a few pictures somewhere and include a link with the report. If a picture is a worth a 1000 words my trip report could go from merely self-indulgent to painfully long! Yippee!

Any suggestions on FREE hosting sites? Looked at tripod but the amount of space you get for free was a tad small.

Thanks in advance, the turnip

I use the Kodak Gallery. I'm not sure how much space you get, but I have quite a few albums stored there.

I was all set to enjoy using photobucket.com for my photos when I found out that they make them public.
This is when you just use their service to make a link to a photograph.
it is free, if you don't care about that.

I have tried various sites and like www.flickr.com the best.
Great design/layout, 40 MB free upload quota per month, no need to register to view photos, and its easy to define which of your photos you want to make public and which should be private. You can also add descriptions and comments to photos.

If you want to see an example, i've got some photos of Spain here:
