Does anyone know what the Forte Posthouse Kensington is called now? I know that it's under new ownership, but can't seem to find the new name.

I'm fairly certain it is now the Kensington Close Hotel & Spa.

Kensington Close has been around for years; we were booked there in 1976. Have no idea what the Forte Posthouse Kensington is; I've never noticed it in all the years I've stayed in that area. What is the address?

Are you sure you want to stay there? Friend's travel agent made a mistake in the name...taxied there and the room was so small their luggage wouldn't fit in let alone them!

If you look at Trip Advisor and other hotel websites, several refer to "Kensington Close Hotel (formerly the Posthouse)"

Is it possible the Ken. Close has moved to what was, not all that long ago, the Posthouse? I have no idea.
I've never stayed at either hotel, but was recently looking at info on Ken. Close as a possibility for an upcoming trip and happened to notice the references to the Posthouse.

My husband, Keith, stayed here in 1999. It is right off of Kensington High Street, near the Tube station. When we went to London for the Millennium, he showed me the hotel (We stayed at my aunt's house in Kensington). And yes, he said the room he stayed in was so small he had to go into the wc to put on his shoes!!!!!
