This hotel is near the Earl's Court tube station. Here's the URL for the London underground so you can see where it is.

This hotel sounds very basic. Read 1 review here.

Before staying in Earl's Court, I personally would opt for one of the basic B & Bs in Bloomsbury like the Harlingford (reviews here)

The area is more convenient IMO.

Other websites to try for deals are gate1.com, londonnights.com, lastminute.com and laterooms.com

BTW, why shouldn't your daughter be willing to travel with you? How else will she get to London? S))

If you do a search for "Kensington Close Hotel" you will find plenty of posts on this & other London hotels.

I stayed at the Radisson Edwardian Vanderbilt and got a great deal in May/June 03 for 99 pounds a night. It was in Kensington area. Try Londontown.com for other information. Thought that website was awesome.

Two years ago we stayed at K=K HOtel George (for 125 pounds per night including extra bed and breakfast - ver yclean hotel!) in the same area with our then 10 year old daughter and enjoyed it. You will have to watch around the tube station late at night - never had problems but just they were looking at us.
