Possible to leave luggage in Dublin?

We plan to fly Ryanair to Italy for a week then return to Dublin, so we could leave our jackets and heavier clothes behind...any thoughts? I know the airport does not have lockers. Has anyone used the train station lockers or a nearby hotel?

Hmmm...just wondering - does the airport you're flying into in Italy have left luggage? Perhaps you could take the items with you and leave them there rather than in Dublin?

No, my concern is about going over the 15 kg limit with Ryanair...

I have seen a place off O'Connell strett but its far just to drop bags and i would never leave at a train or bus station. How about leaving at the hotel or B&B you are returning to in Dublin but leave in advance or arrange pick up.

Actually, we decided to stay at Clontarf Castle the night before and for 3 nights after, so the issue is solved.
