Positano to Florence in a day?
Can we get from Positano to Florence in a day? If so, what's the best way to do it.
Also, any gorgeous boutique accommodation suggestions for Florence would be brilliant!
Thanks

No - just going from Positano to Florence in a day and staying overnight. I believe the quickest way is to get a driver from Positano to Naples and then train from Naples to Florence??
If so, any idea of timing for the drive from Positano to Naples and recommendations for accommodation in Florence?

Positano is 19 km (12 miles) closer to Salerno than to Napoli, but it takes much longer to get to Salerno, plus Salerno is further from Firenze and has less trains going to Firenze.
Positano Napoli about 1 hour 15 minutes
Positano Salerno more than 2 hours
Sometimes sites like viamichelin.com don't give you the right info about driving time

Ehm...ira, even though it seems we were writing almost contemporaneously, it seems we don't agree on the Positano-Salerno driving time. But I think I misunderstood the former post and thought somebody wanted to go from Positano to Salerno along the Amalfi coast (as I have read somewhere else!).
If you go by highway A3, via Castellammare, then the timing is almost the same (only depends on traffic. But still, less trains in Salerno...and a little longer train ride to Firenze

Anyway Sorrento and the area are getting warmer and busier, but (working)Season has not started yet at a full rythm.
If you give me an email or contact me, I'll give you my brand new website.
