Just came across a website and it listed these 2 places in ENGLAND for Plus Sizes--Hope it helps==

EMMA PLUS
16 Church Street
Brighton, Sussex

BN1 1RB
01273 327240
[email protected]
www.webmaker. co.uk/emmaplus/
Styles Carried: Georgette Drape Neck Dress, Drape Neck Dress, Drape Neck Shell, Palazzo Pants

RUBENESQUE
22 Bath Road
Devizes, England
SN10 2AU
01380 728972
Wed-Sat 10am-4pm
www.fullerfigure.co.uk
Styles Carried: Long V-Neck Dress, Short V-Neck Dress, Scoop Neck Dress, Long Bias Dress

AND IN LONDON:

For the best plus-size shopping in London look for designer Anna Scholz's creations (Selfridges / Harrods). Herself a plus-size, Anna knows just how sexy bigger woman can be and her clothes reflect that. Perfectly cut to flatter the good bits and skillfully disguise the not so good, you can dress up or down with her versatile line. These clothes are not cheap but they will last you season after season. For cheaper high street plus-size fashion, try Evans or the B is B Range (Big is Beautiful) at Hennes - both on Oxford Street and in other major shopping areas.

And ANOTHER STORE IN LONDON:

Debenhams Dept.Store-
334-348 Oxford Street
London
PHONE:
020 7580 3000

Debenham's also carries evening and formal and cocktailwear--

And another store is called EVANS---
they are also located in London

Hope these all help you!!!

Sandra,
You obviously have never seen the Queen in the flesh - she is tiny - hardly a Plus Size and most of her clothes are tailor made by the top designers.
I am sure all the top department stores would have many interesting plus size designs for the evening.

Marks and Spencer now have a plus sized section going I think up to a UK size 28. M and S is full of evening wear at the moment and I'm sure they'll have some in plus sizes.

If you look at the M and S website http://www.marksandspencer.com/

and go to the plus section, they don't have a very large selection but it looks quite nice.

Want to second Andy's suggestion to look for Anna Scholz's clothes in Debenhams.

My sister bought me a lovely top from her collection for Xmas - it's really feminine and makes the most of my assets and minimizes the rest!

Evans has a few party clothes but recently seems much better for office or casual wear. I've found less dressy clothes there than in previous years.
