Venice hotel for less than $150

Last posting was getting a little long, my recommendation is hotel galleria.
www.hotelgalleria.it
excellent location near accademy museum and bridge. Most of other hotels posted before were $200+ except possibly in low season. Personally I have never found a reason to spend more than $150 in venice or anywhere else for that matter including NYC RR

During my stay in Venice I slept in two hotels which I reccomend: Hotel Florida (... www.hotel-florida.com) logistically well situated ( some minutes from the railway-station or the central parking-houses)and art deco hotel, it has a good location near S.Marco square, reasonable price and friendly workers. The room are very new and clean because of restoring.

My husband and I were in Venice this summer. We stayed at Hotel Montecarlo. We loved it. We got a greatdeal for it on hotel discounters. Have a great time.

Hi Robert,

I second the Art Deco - great location, nice rooms and super owner. Only issue would be no elevator if that is a concern.

The owner spent a portion of her childhood growing up in New England. She is a wealth of knowledge and can suggest many places to visit, restaurants etc. She helped make our trip to Venice 'special'.

Is the Art Deco you refer to the same as
Locanda Art Deco Hotel 2966 Calle delle Botteghe, San Marco?
