Please help with Barcelona hotel (or apartment)

I am going crazy trying to find a reasonably priced hotel in Barcelona.
Would love some recommendations.
We will be there first week in September and we are a couple in our late 50's.
Prefer a location where we can walk to some of the major sites.
Budget is around $250us dollars per night.

Looking at El Avenida Palace hotel. Does anyone know this hotel.

Thanks in advance
Millie

K&K Picasso. In El Born. Old Town is at your doorstep. Nice hotel with a good breakfast. Las Ramblas is a 10 minute walk. Many excellent restaurants within a few block's walking distance. There is a HO-HO bus stop on the front porch. We loved it.

We had the same problem in 2015, also September. We ended up in a B&B close to a metro station. We paid US$141 per night for the two of us but I can't recommend the place. (Wonderful owner and breakfast but a very disappointing facility.) But with US$250 per night you should do OK. That K&K Picasso makes me want to go back.

Thanks very much.
I think I will book K&K Picasso. Seems to tick all the boxes.

We stayed at Boutique H10 Montcada. It is centrally located as we were able to walk almost everywhere. It had a wonderful breakfast should you choose to eat there and I think it is within your budget. I would stay there again.
