What happened to your concern about loud jazz music?

At Dukey1, when I showed my husband the location on google maps he wanted me to keep it on the list! I guess I'll have to just have an extra glass or two of wine!!! lol

Personally, I would go with the D'Aubusson because of the location. The Madison, as I recall, does not get the same sorts of reviews.

I must say I have never stayed in that particular hotel as we generally stay in the Marais neighborhood. I hope it all works out for you.

Have you looked at reviews on Tripadvisor or asked on their Paris forum? May get more replies/info with wider audience.

We have stayed at Hotel Le Madison on three different trips to Paris. I love the hotel, it's location as well as its service. That said, we are returning to Paris next month and opted to stay at the Westin as the Madison's rates have crawled out of our budget. I hope this helps somewhat. Happy travels!

They all look lovely. I would choose the Relais Christine, mainly because it's in a side street and would possibly be quieter than some of the others that are on busy streets.

I've stayed at both Relais Christine many times and Hotel D'Aubusson many times. They are virtually around the corner from each other. BUT... pick the D'Aubusson. Unless it's changed dramatically, some of the rooms at Relais Christine feel quite cramped and claustrophobic. Not true at Hotel D'Aubusson.

And an FYI: The jazz concerts never kept us up during our stays at Hotel D'Aubusson. Love that hotel!!

We LOVE the D'Aubusson. Cafe Laurent is a must stop before bed.

I have stayed at the Relais Christine and had a wonderful room-but I was on a business trip so somebody else was footing the bill-and I had a suite. It is a wonderful hotel and really nice the way it is set back in its courtyard.

The suites at Relais Christine are wonderful. Some of the other rooms not so much.

D'Aubusson is a nice hotel and great location but it is too noisy.
A lot of loud people early in the morning and the jazz music is very loud as well.

I like the the Madison because of the location, get a higher floor corner unit over looking St. Germain.

I also like Relais Christine but the street is a little too dark for me at night.

Can't comment on the rest. Have a great time.

Among your six hotels our favorite for years as been the Madison. Great location, quiet rooms, nice staff--huge buffet breakfast (extra cost) that allows you to skip lunch.

We've only stayed at The Madison and loved it. Excellent location & breakfast. I agree to get a room overlooking St. Germain. The lowest price rooms overlook nothing and sometimes are dark.
