Euro Quiz #4 - Europe's Ten Tallest Cathedrals...

What are the ten tallest cathedrals in Europe?

How many jhave you been to?

I've been to 7 of the ten. The ten means the ten tallest now - historically there were several more tall but have lost their spires, etc.

It seems only right that you include 11 in Europe, so according to the list, also St. Peter's in the Vatican. Then your own percentage, PalenQ, would likely rise, too.

Five - but even though it does not make it to the Top 10, the climb up Berne minster was the scariest.

Many of those listed are not even cathedrals... beginning with no. 1. There has never been a bishop in Ulm. The Minster is in fact just the parish church of the city. And the same applies to (at least) six others among the first 20.

This is a list of tallest churches, not cathedrals.

I've been to 4 of the first 10 cathedrals.

Have been to 4 of the top 10 - not counting the Ivory Coast one as part of the list.

I've only been to 3. The list itself doesn't even claim to be tallest cathedrals.

Lincoln was the tallest in the world, until it fell down - I hardly think that counts!
