Since I would be spending the day, is the Parador the only palce to eat at the Alhambara?
And I would be there for 2 days and 3 nights. I've booked a night visit to the Nasrid Palaces on the first day, should I go to the Alhambara on the first or second day? Would the night visit be an anti climax after a day's visit?

I was extremely glad that my evening visit to the Alhambra after my daytime visit. I already "knew" what I was seeing, and could savor the experience of seeing it in different lighting, with fewer people, and with only hushed voices rather than a cacophony of tour guides, people talking, and people moving. It was magical!

We just toured the Alhambra with a private nude. It made all the difference. We understood what we were seeing. We had a 10 am entry to the Palace. We met our guide at 8:30, toured the gardens and the Generalife and then went to the Palace. Afterwards we were able to go back to the gardens and walk around some more. We wanted to have lunch at the Parador, however we were early for the restaurant and the patio area had many bees.

Oh, benmia, thanks for the laugh! I'm sure visiting with a private nude would make all the difference! ;-) But to be clear, one does not need a private guide unless that is one's preference -- one can rent an audioguide (I thought it quite good), read in advance, bring detailed info on an e-reader or smartphone, etc.

I hadn't thought of a private nude - that would make all the difference!

Darn, missed the naked nude on our visit!

We found the 9am slot good -- enough time for The Nasrid Palace and the rest of the sites at the Alhambra. We had lunch at the Hotel America, which is within the Alahambra citadel - I remember it as a comfortable place with decent food. Perfect for a break.

I will say, though, that while I really enjoyed seeing the Alhambra, l found it to be very crowded, and filled with folks using selfie sticks to take pictures. I did enjoy the evening visit more because it's quieter and much more evocative without all the crowds.

And I think I was a little redundant with "naked nude"! Meant to say, "missed the private nude"!
