Oh, Pam, I wish I could catch your attitude! I am flying to Milan in September from LAX and I am already getting nervous twinges, mostly about the part of the flight when the doors swoose shut and we take off. I am always on the verge of hysteria and that point, but try to keep it to myself.
Funny, but when I look around the plane everyone seems so calm and relaxed, while I am a bundle of nerves.
But I keep flying, how else to get to far away places?!

There is a technique, Meridian Therapy, that is based on acupressure that can take away the fear of flying in about an hour... permanently. Your friend can learn how by reading the instructions in the book "Five Simple Steps to Emotional Healing", an inexpensive book you can purchase at most stores or through Amazon.com. It really works!

Suppose:

Every time you want to drive somewhere, a team of guys with clipboards go over every working part of the car.

You and your backup co-driver both have had years of driving school and road experience.

When you back out of the driveway, a guy in a tower is looking down, monitoring other traffic, and telling you when you can go.

There is a law that nobody can drive within a mile of you.

Every time a car part fails, anywhere, a team of analysts figure out what happened, and that type of failure is immediately made illegal.

The car is tested in traffic and weather conditions (wind) that are several times fiercer than ever occurs in nature.

Think how safe car travel would be!

For years I had trouble getting on a plane, but I told myself: today the weather is fine and the airport is running smoothly; someday when the weather is bad you will not have to get on the plane. Then came that bad day (O'Hare, de-icing 3 times before the flight), and I stayed on the plane anyway. Nothing bad happened, and I've felt better ever since.
