Anyone ever stay in Kinsale? BBs or Hotels? I can't find much on it so I'm assuming it's a small town. We heard its a great little town however I'm not sure if there are alot of options. I don't believe we want to stay in Cork as we're looking for something a bit more low key. Is two nights to long to stay in Kinsale?

Kinsale is a great little town with lots of nice restuarants. I's happily stay there for a week.

I usually stay in Actons. Get a room with a view of the sea.

Its a beautiful seaside village. It is also known as the gourmet capital of Ireland. Great restaurants, stunning sunsets and you can drive out to other towns in west cork from here. I would and have stayed two nights here.

We spent a day there in 2003 and thought is was beautiful and charming, and I wished we had stayed longer too.

We stayed at The Old Presbytere several years ago and liked it. It has a good parking lot behind it. Breakfast was good and rooms are furnished in antique pine.

Kinsale is a wonderful town! It's one of my favorite places in Ireland. Two nights is definitely not too long to stay there. As others have mentioned, there are several really good restaurants.

I have stayed at Perryville House, which is a very nice small hotel in the village -- within walking distance of everything. Another is Harbour Lodge, which overlooks the harbor. It is a bit longer walk to the center of the village, but is in a gorgeous setting.

Have you checked Trip Advisor? There is an excellent selection of hotels, inns and B&B's listed there.

We stayed at Friar's Lodge, which we liked a lot. Kinsale is a charming town, fun to explore. It's definitely worth two days if you enjoy walking and exploring quaint little towns.
