Pisa To Florence

Hi, I will be flying into Pisa and need to get to Florence. I was wondering if anyone could give me suggestions on the best way to do that.
Thanks

Hi Mary
Train journey between the two towns is very easy and fast, nice scenery too. Check out the schedules on http://www.fs-on-line.com/home/en/index.htm

The Pisa airport has its own train station, separate from the town of Pisa.

Hi Mary,

If the above link doesn't work, try this one http://www.trenitalia.it and use the Italian language

You want to enter Pisa aeroporto as your departure station (partire) and Firenze for arrival (arrivare).

The train takes about 1 1/4 hr.

The train ride is about one hour one way. Very convenient.

Quite literally once you enter the airport lounge, exit left, and the train "station" is right ahead of you.

Don't forget to validate your ticket in a little yellow box on the platform. This datestamps your ticket.

Have a fab time in Firenze!
