Pictures and small report - Croatia trip
HI Fodorites,
I wanted to thank everyone who help us out with ideas and information about Croatia. My wife and I were in Croatia the last week of August and first week of December and we had a great time. People are just so friendly and their hospitality is wonderful, we felt secure everywhere we went, and to say the least the food is amazing.
We didn't have reservations anywhere, with the only exception of our last night in Zagreb. We stayed in rooms or apartments, and paid 200-300 kunas. Accommodations were simple, clean and efficient. I do have to remark though.
In any case, I figure that pictures speak much better than me writing a whole report, but in case anyone has any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Here are the pics....by the way, we first spent 2 nights in Rome and then we went to Croatia for 2 weeks.

Those are gorgeous pics! Some of them are nearly identical to those that we have so it is fun to re-live the trip (of Rome, too). So glad you had a wonderful time. I still maintain that Croatia is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. We cannot wait to return.

Wonderful pictures!! It looks you two had a fabulous trip and went to some really off the beaten path little towns. The food pics had me drooling on my keyboard. Thanks for bringing back some great memories of Croatia and Rome.
