Photocards-London
Hello! A family member and I recently bought 2 7Day Travelcards off an internet site. The only problem is, it says on the top that it is "Valid only when shown with a photocard no." I read somewhere that you need a photocard if you want to buy travelcards but I already bought them so I really don't understand. If we DO need photocards, where can I get them?. And do I need my driver's license or some proof?. I hope I didn't confuse anybody! Thanks!

I don't think its connected to the London Pass. We bought it off AllinLondon.co.uk. It is a green paper card. Says (Travelcard) on top, shows the Start Date, Ticket Type, Class, Zones (1,2 and 3), Number and so on. We're staying there for a week and we want to travel throughout London (zones 1,2 and 3)I don't Really get what a Photocard no. is, or if we need it.

What you have is the old paper travel card which you needed a photo ID card (passport sized photo)
Photo IDs are numbered so "<i>Valid only when shown with a photocard no. [number]</i>" means a photocard w/ a valid number.
Photo IDs were not required for zone 1-2 travel cards but for other zones they were. Yours are for zones 1-3, so that explains the notation. Maybe a Londoner can tell us - if someone is using the old travel cards do they still need a photo ID??
