Pearls in Spain
We will be in Malaga and then to the White towns and then on to Seville. When shopping I hope to buy pearls to bring back to my daughters. Is Spain still a good place to get them? If so are they a deal or not. Thanks

I've never heard of pearls being a deal here in Spain before
I know people who buys here cultivated pearls saying they are cheaper and better quality than others, but no real pearls
I suppose they are as "cheap" as anywhere else

Hammond5, are you referring to Majorica pearls? I purchased some beautiful sets of pearls (necklaces and earrings) while I was in Palma de Mallorca this summer. While the pearls are indeed beautiful, I think they are considered only costume jewelry, not fine jewelry. If I'm wrong, please correct me (I'd be grateful too!).
Checking out Saks and Nordstroms, I think my set from Spain is a bit cheaper in price than in the U.S. Even if it wasn't, I would still consider it a great souvenir for me to remember Palma by.
