Bocuse has four brasseries in Lyon. Herself and I dined in La Brasserie du Sud and were well pleased. Modest prices, too. Kir royals, three course meals for two, bottle of decent wine, tea/coffee to finish -- €99. Booking advisable, but not weeks in advance.

I believe there are four (Nord,Sud, Ouest, and Est) Bocuse brasseries in Lyon.
I had dinner at Brasserie de L'Est and enjoyed the food. Located at train station. Nice decor, tasty classical french bistro food. I'd go back.
From my 2005 trip report:
-Kir E3.80
- bread with olives and onions
- ½ badoit E3.30
- glass of Crozes Hermitage (bit rough at beginning) E4.30
- Terrine de canard with bread, lettuce and weed, cooked onion VG+ E9.80
- Volailes de Brest, simple, good, not a lot of meat, 2 pieces (asked breast) E19.00
- Large bowl with salad, basic green + O&V
- Cooked potatoes in dish, Brought metal tray, lit candles underneath to keep potatoe dish warm
- Tarte de poirreau,(pear) wow could taste butter in the crust E5.20
- Café E2.10

I have dined at Le Sud (several times), le Nord and L'Est and would not willingly return to any of them. Poor service, overpriced food, mediocre experience overall. (In fact, our dinner at l'Est was extremely poor - tasted like the food at our staff canteen, but 5 times the price). You can do so much better for your money in Lyon!!
I know that lots of people like these brasseries and they are regularly recommended in the press and guide books, but to me they are riding on the reputation/name of Bocuse and nothing else.
Sorry to be so negative, of course this is just one person's opinion...

I tend to agree with hanl although only with an experience at le Sud 2 years ago. The cost was about €100 for 2 but we didn't have a full dinner, just 2-couse, a half bottle of wine and maybe a coffee. Later we agreed it was a bit over priced for what we got. Perhaps we made bad choices of dishes, others could have been better, you never know. Probably not a downright disappointment but was nothing memorable.
