Parking in or near Vienna center
At the end of the week, we'll be in Vienna for 4 days. The Radisson SAS Palais Hotel will charge 30 Euro/day to park in their garage. I have never been to Vienna before, but 120 Euro to park for a long weekend seems very expensive.
Does anyone know the going rate for parking near the city center (the ring)? I have no problems parking somewhere else if it will save 50% or so.

Parking in Vienna, as you have found out, is very expensive. That's why we usually stay at the Admiral Hotel behind the Museum Quartier because they have several free guest parking spots near the hotel.
I found this website that may be of some help to you. However, it appears that the 30 Euros per day the Radisson is charging you will be cheaper than the rates charged by public garages.
Look under "Overview of Garages" and go down to the 1st Bezirk (District) for a listing. Click on the blue numbers ("1/1"
for details.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like I may have to suck it up on the parking bill.
chris1234, I live in Munich, so ditching the car unfortunately cannot be done!
bettyk, I cannot see any URL link in your message. Do you mind re-posting?
thanks
