Parking at Windsor Castle

Any best places to park at Windsor Castle that are cheaper, easier access, less well known?

There is no parking right at Windsor Castle.

the two easiest carparks to get to (assuming you are coming off the M4) are the Arches and Alma Road -- both well sign posted. There is another carpark between the castle and the river, but you'd have driven past the other two to get to it.

AFAIK - all cost about the same.

If you have enough time, you could park your car for free near the Fox & Hounds (http://thefoxandhoundsrestaurant.com/) at the south eastern end of the Great Park and do the Long Walk thru the park toward the castle - which has great views. According to their website, they are now open for breakfast daily (thinking about your other post). The Long Walk takes approx 1 hour, but you can always get a taxi back if needed.

Thanks, noted on my itinerary.

Fox and Hounds and the long walk sounds GREAT...............if the weather forecast changes for that day!
