Paris, Where to Stay Near the Metro 3 Line?

Hi,

My son is traveling to Levallois Perret near Paris in June for business. We understand that Levallois Perret is accessible from Paris on the Metro 3 line.

Could you suggest an economical hotel in Paris that would be well located to the Metro 3 line and also to Paris nightlife?

Also, which would be the best district that is on the Metro 3 line?

Thank you in advance.

I would look around metro Villiers for convenience, but Opéra would work quite well also.

I thought Oberkampf would be the stop on Line 3 for the nightlife..?
There aren't many economical hotels around Villiers anymore.

Here are a couple by Oberkampf:

<> Hotel Beaumarchais ***

<> Hotel Plessis **

I very recently stayed at and would highly recommend the Hotel New Orient at 16, Rue de Constantinople, in the 8th. It was very close to the Villiers Metro stop, which is on the #3 line, as well as the Rome and Europe stops. A single with shower was 85 Euro. The #2 line also goes through Villiers, and that is the line that goes to Etoile and also to Montmartre.

If you tell us what you consider "economical" we can make better suggestions.
