Paris-where to sleep&Attractions

Hi,
My wife and I will be in Paris for the first time for 5 full days at 25/09-01.10.18.
we wish to sleep in cool area but not to expensive(probably in apartment) .
we wish to see other sides of the city except then the usual tourist route.

which area do you recommend to sleep in and which places are you recommend to view ?

What is your budget?

Do understand that most short term apartments in Paris are illegal. If you find a listing you like -- make sure it includes the official city registration number.

Since September is a busy hotel month I suggest that you go to booking.com, plug in your dates and requirements and see what's available. Your price range will get you a small no frills room in an outer arrondissement. Regarding the specific location, you should read the reviews carefully. "Cool" is a pretty subjective term.
